Random Thoughts and Musings

Election Year Kickoff Edition

  1. It's a Presidential election year again. Time to say goodbye to your Facebook friends from the other party. Don't worry, they'll be back in two years.

  2. Did you know that God doesn't care what we think about His word? It is what it is and ignoring it, or changing it, to suit our needs doesn't mean squat to Him.

  3. My cat, Boo Radley, plainly says, "Hello" when she comes in the house. It's creepy as hell.

  4. I'm not really much into conspiracy theories, but the Trump assassination attempt makes me wonder. It just doesn't add up. Was it an inside job? Probably not, but it just doesn't add up.

  5. The only conspiracy theory I believe to be 100% true is the Kennedy assassination. That was an inside job. No doubt in my mind. Which takes us back to the attempt on Trump's life.

  6. I believe there are numerous planets in the universe inhabited by intelligent life now, or have been in the past. None, however, have sent missions to Earth and none ever will. Why? The same reason Earthlings will never visit their planets. We will destroy ourselves before we can develop the technology to travel there.

  7. I enjoy writing very much, but it does not come easy to me. Getting an idea out of my head and onto a page can be very difficult. Even if I can see it clearly in my head. It can be very frustrating.

  8. Going back to politics, I am often surprised to learn a person is a Liberal, but I'm rarely surprised to learn a person is a Conservative. Meaning its more obvious.

  9. I have a habit of trying to do too many things at once. I'm currently writing three books, trying to get a new coffeehouse on its feet, launching an online tee-shirt store, and trying to recover from shoulder surgery. Im not complaining, but it gets to be a bit much sometimes.

  10. If 1980 Ronald Reagan ran for President today, Republicans would call him a RINO. If 1992 Bill Clinton ran today, Democrats would call him a Fascist.

  11. When you get right down to it, the only candy bar worth eating is a Snickers.

  12. Keith Richards will be 81 years old this December. What are the chances you will outlive him? I'll be 59 in October and my chances are 50/50 at best.

  13. Ohio State wins the college football's National Championship this season in convincing fashion. I said it.
